The Oxford English–Sindhi Dictionary is an English–Sindhi version of the popular Concise Oxford Dictionary (9th edition). It contains approximately 65,000 headwords, more than 1,40,000 meanings, and about 3 million text words. It is the first dictionary of English–Sindhi in which transliteration is given according to IPA pronunciation and Sindhi orthography. Scientific and technical terms are dealt with proper Sindhi equivalents. The subsumed idioms, phrasal verbs, and derivatives are explained in easy and simple language. This dictionary is the first and foremost comprehensive work in English–Sindhi bilingual lexicographical history.
